1. سب سے پہلے مطالعہ کا مقصد
متعین کریں.
2. مطالعہ کے لئے مفید مواد
کا انتخاب کیجئے.
3. مطالعہ کرنے کے تین بنیادی
طریقے ہیں. ان میں سے حسبِ ضرورت ایک طریقہ کار کا انتخاب کیجیے.
4. اللہ کا نام لے کر مطالعہ
کا آغاز کر دیں.
5. لیٹ کر مطالعہ کرنے سے گریز
کیجئے.
6. مناسب اور پرسکون انداز سے
بیٹھ کر مطالعہ کریں.
7. جو بھی پڑھیں، پوری توجہ
اور یکسوئی سے پڑھیں.
8. ہر لفظ اور جملے کو سمجھنے
کی کوشش کیجئے. بغیر سمجھے آگے مت بڑھیں.
9. جملوں کی بناوٹ، پیراگراف،
فل سٹاپ اور کوما وغیرہ کے استعمال کو بھی سمجھیں.
10. پرسکون اور خاموش ماحول میں
مطالعہ کرنا زیادہ بہتر ہے.
11. مطالعہ کرتے ہوئے منہ کو
حرکت دینے کی عادت سے احتراز کیجئے. ورنہ جلدی ہی تھک جائیں گے.
12. مطالعہ کئے جانے والے مواد
کا تجزیہ بھی کریں اور تنقیدی جائزہ بھی لیں.
13. ہر پیراگراف یا مضمون کا
مرکزی خیال اخذ کرنے کی کوشش بھی کیجئے.
14. آنکھ کی حرکات مناسب ہوں.
آنکھیں زیادہ پھیلا یا سکیڑ کر مطالعہ نہ کریں.
15. اہم نکات کو اپنے پاس نوٹ
کرتے جائیں. انہیں ہائی لائیٹ یا انڈر لائن بھی کیا جا سکتا ہے.
16. مشکل الفاظ کے لئے لغت (Dictionary) کا
استعمال ضرور کیجئے.
17. دماغ کو پرسکون کرکے مطالعہ
کریں. دماغی اضطراب کی حالت میں کیا گیا مطالعہ زیادہ سودمند نہیں ہوتا.

SS STEP TO WRITE A PRECIS:
Step 1.
Read the Step 1.
Read the passage thoroughly.
Try to get a general idea of tht theme of the passage.
Step
2.
Read the passage again.
Underline all the important ideas. Grasp the entire meaning of the material
having guessed the un familiar phrases or their information use.
Step
3.
Rewrite in fewer words what
the author has said. If desirable, write in the form of points. Use your own
language as far as possible.
Step
4.
Re-read the passage. Compare
your points with the passage to make sure that no important point or
superfluous has been overlooked and nothing insignificant has been included.
Step
5.
With the help of these points,
put down the sum and substance of the passage in well-connected and readable
paragraphs. This is your rough draft.
Step
6.
Count the words in your rough
draft. You are normally required to reduce the original passage to about
one-third of its length. Make necessary alterations in your rough draft to give
it the required length.

Give your précis

It is difficult to pinpoint the origins of nudism, or naturism, as it is often called. However, the first official nudist club, Freilichtpark (Free light park), was opened by Paul zimmermann in an area of secluded woodland north of Hamburg, Germany, in 1903. It attracted visitors from around the world, and nudism developed largely in europe, specially in Germany. The international Naturist Federation was formed in france in 1953 to further the cause.
